Produce Auction

produce auction collageProduce Auctions were a new experience for me when we moved to Small Town several years ago.  It quickly became a hobby (it is cheaper than shoe shopping), then something I used to supplement my home garden during canning season, then the start of a produce stand.  After all, what else are you going to do with 150 lbs of peppers while trying to get them all frozen before they go bad?

Below you will find posts about my experiences at the auction, tips in case you want to visit one yourself, studies and articles written by other, as well as a series I did while trying to locate other auctions across the United States and Canada.
