Weekly Menu Plan May 2013

Since we were out a lot last week and the two weeks before that we had house guests, I found that several of my previous meals were not eaten.  I am planning to do minimal shopping this week and use what we already have.

The chocolate mousse I made a week ago turned out great.  This is the fourth time making it.  The first time was in a class I was taking.  The second time (at home) it turned out wonderful.  The third time (at home) I ended up with the early stages of butter.  The fourth time (at home) I had learned from time #3 and adjusted the recipe accordingly.  It was wonderful.  The top middle picture of the collage above is of me pouring the melted chocolate into the whipped cream.  I mentioned to my husband that it would be so easy to make this in different flavors.  You are only limited by the flavor of chips you can find.  My  husband has had one life dream fulfilled – a wife who can make a decent chocolate mousse. 😉
