I have been thinking about the 21 Days To A More Disciplined Life Challenge (21 Day Self-Discipline Challenge for short) that starts tomorrow.  If you missed it here is a brief recap:

Crystal Paine recently wrote an ebook titled: 21 Days To A More Disciplined Life.  You get a copy on Amazon or from Crystal’s website. She lays out an easy 21 day plan to help you gain discipline in an area of your life.  She does not give you a magical pill that will make it all fall into place.  What she does give you is a step by step plan to learn how to teach yourself discipline so YOU can get your life back on track to order.

Crystal from Serving Joyfully, Laura from Super Sweet Life, and Erin from Home With The Boys are going to be hosting a challenge/accountability group going through the ebook beginning November 1, 2012.  For those of you without a calender in front of you, that is tomorrow.

In anticipation of this challenge, I have been thinking about what my Mega Project will be, as well as my first small challenge/activity.  Here is what I have decided on:

  1. For the smaller activity I am going to tackle cleaning my bathroom.  It really won’t be that hard, but will make such a difference in how I feel as I get ready in the mornings.  It has slowly started to go down hill and needs a jump start back onto the right path.
  2. For my Mega Project I have decided to work on my front weed flower bed.  It has only been 5 years that I’ve been complaining about it and always planing “to do something with it one of these days.”  Well, today is the day.  Or rather, tomorrow is.  I have thought about how I want to get it started, but still not sure about the end result.  That is okay.  I have 21 days to figure it out.  Well, not the whole 21, but at least I will be thinking of it every day.  It may be that I get to the end still not sure exactly what I want it to be like.  However, I know what it will not be, and that is a weed fill bed that annoys me for months on end and actually makes me a bit embarrased to say I live in that house.

It is not too late to join, even if you have yet to read the book. Start with that today and you will quickly be right on track.

If you haven’t, start thinking about what smaller project you want to do, one that you can complete in less than 24 hours, as well as your Mega Project.  I really would be interested to know what you are up to, or even just thinking about. Please share in the comments.

If you need accountability feel free to comment here or over at one of the links above where the challenge is taking place.

Check back tomorrow and I’ll have more about my plans for the Mega Project as well as photos.
