Weekly Goals – September 2, 2012

Last week I let myself off the hook as bit (are you seeing a pattern) as Craziness seemed to be the order of the week.

Even Thursday morning’s screaming shopping in the Big Town wasn’t immune to it.  I got a call from someone saying, “I’m on your front porch for our meeting.  Where are you?”  My response was, “We didn’t have a meeting scheduled.  Last time we met you said you didn’t want to schedule it … I can be there in 40 minutes …. (but knowing this meeting, too, needed to happen before the end of the month, otherwise known as tomorrow, I responded) well, I can be there in 30 minutes if I skip my last stop.”  “Okay.  I’ll see you in 30 minutes” was the response.

I treated myself by taking everyone out to lunch, with a Buy One Get One Free coupon to make it even better, as a result of feeling so frazzled. Yes, I even orderd a soda.  Just a note:  I do not usually do this; use food to ‘treat’ myself that is.  It was more of a “I didn’t have to cook or do dishes” sort of treat.
