Taking it easy…but not this morning

Tomato Soup and Grilled Bread

Today is starting off early, with a trip to the OT.  This may be our last, as it does the opposite of calming down the kid it is supposed to be calming down.  I am going to suggest something else this week, so we will see how it goes.

Then a stop by CVS to (hopefully) pick up some deals.

Lastly, the plan is to use coupons from KidsBowlFree.com to enjoy a game of bowling.  I have found that 2 games result in breakdowns in behaviors, but 1 is usually a fun time.  This will only work if I can get it to print off at the library as my printer’s ink seems to have run out this morning.

Home for lunch, maybe.  It depends on the time.

Once we get home the plan is to cook up 3 more batches of tomato soup, then freeze the 6 batches that will be made at that point.  In previous years I canned up the soup, but found it was not quite what we were looking for, though it did not taste bad.  So, freezing it is this year.  I will let you know how it goes.

A few loads of laundry await my attention, in between which I hope to pay attention to the play room and its contents.

I have so many posts going through my head, but it seems I am always getting pulled away from the computer.  The next few weeks will see us getting back into our ‘normal’ routines.  My plan is to work to get back into a more productive evening routine and get done some of the activities I used to do.

Well, it does seem that I have achieved my summer goal of taking it easy, though I did not mean for the to carry over to the blog.  Has it really been 4 days since I posted?  Yikes.  Sorry about that.
