Menu Plan – September 10, 2012

This is the week of pork loin recipes, or so it seems.  It was planned that way semi-intentionally as I got a large pork loin a few weeks back on sale and cut it into smaller portions.

Monday morning found me not remembering what we were supposed to have for lunch.  I remembered seeing the Curry Chicken with Coconut Rice recipe in the pocket of my recipe binder.  That is where I keep recipes I am thinking of trying that month.  It has been there for two or three months, just waiting to be made.  I knew I had chicken and decided to make it that day.  I’m really glad we tried it as it has become a keeper.

Breakfast:

  1. crepes, fruit
  2. cereal
  3. eggs, fruit, toast
  4. waffles, fruit
  5. shakes
  6. oatmeal
  7. eat out

Lunch:

  1. eat out
  2. curry chicken and coconut rice, side salad
  3. eat out
  4. crockpot pork tenderloin with apples, side salad
  5. sweet and tangy pork loin, beets, carrots
  6. hamburgers, fries
  7. peking pork loin

Supper:

  1. leftovers
  2. black bean soup (with some added lemon juice), rolls
  3. spaghetti with meat sauce
  4. bread, fruit, cheese, tea
  5. beef curry, rice
  6. ???
  7. ???
