The Trouble in Dogflat Hollow by Cameron Sword
“A gritty and mildly irreverent satire detailing a shocking account of how the Earth was nearly annihilated on January 1, 1990. Some of the names have been changed in order to further protect the privacy of fictitious persons involved. Other names, including those belonging to Biblical personalities, have also been changed in order to safeguard and preserve formal reputations.“

He buries himself in his job of creating mind-bending adventure games for businesses as team-building explorations. When his ex-wife’s company hires Grayson’s to create an elaborate game, he doesn’t see how things can get worse. Shackles: The Truth Will Set You Free by Dianne J. Wilson “Jason is not the kind of guy you would want to take home to mom. He’s foul tempered, a bit of a womanizer and has a conscience that has been collecting dust for years. All that is shaken up though, when he unearths a package of carefully preserved love letters and a portrait while diving off the coast of Africa. So many unanswered questions, the letters snag something inside of him. Intrigued despite himself, he begins to unravel the mystery caught up in pages. He finds himself tangled up in the life of a girl he’s never met… a girl who is in desperate trouble. “
All The Way Home by Ann Tatlock “From a rough section of Los Angeles during the late Depression years, to the civil rights struggles of the 1960s in the South, this novel is a searing portrayal of one family trapped by alcoholism and another living the typical middle class life. A true American story told through the eyes of two girls, best friends, separated by the internment camps of World War II.”
Astray by J F Rogers “After a lifetime with no knowledge of her parents, troubled seventeen-year-old Fallon Webb receives a necklace once belonging to her mother. The amulet leads her on a life-changing journey through a portal to a foreign land where she encounters unusual creatures, shape-shifters, and something she’s always longed for—family.”
